OSU Park footage

A couple weeks ago we showed up to the park and videographer John Thorne was there with an HD camera and a dolly filming the kids skating..we had arrived right before the sun went down hoping to get in a short session. As it started to get dark, John mentioned that he had lights. We ended up skating for about two and a half hours. I'm really starting to like how the park is bringing together very random groups of skaters. It's a central location that is a good place for skaters from all over columbus to meet up. Here is the footage from that day. This is a really good look at the park's setup.

His brother Joe filmed this stuff over the last year and it's footage of a bunch of my friends..Featuring:Dan Charlton, Chad Butler, Ben Perkins, Taylor Nawrocki, Gabe Peterson, Franz Lyons, Caleb Mercile, Pete ..., Nate Malinsky, Natnaile Mamo, and Max Palmer.

OSU Park update

The park is re-paved and they put all the ramps and boxes back in place... All the stuff from the Red Bull Manny Mania contest is now there. Embassy Boardshop worked things out OSU and got Red Bull to donate the boxes. The mini ramp is also being re-built. Looks like it will be better this time. Here is a pic of Taylor skating the new set up.

My friend Sharon works across the street from the OSU skatepark... Apparently they are finally re-paving the lot.. I'll try to get some pictures soon.. Let's hope it's actually gonna be skateable now.
