In my earlier post I mentioned that I stopped filming right around the time that the Insturment guys showed up at the park on Saturday. Well they just posted up a video of Cole Wilson, Zac Coyne, Cody Heil, Gary Collins and friend Brooks Shuping FUCKING KILLING THE PLACE! I had to re-post it here. I saw some of these tricks in person, some I didn't..holy crap. filmed by Matt Ballard.

Come Together contest edit

Last night there was a best trick contest @ Skate Naked.
Contests were held on the 2 flat 2, large hubba, shotgun rail, mini ramp and best line on the boxes... later on there was a contest over the fun box but I didn't manage to film any of that...
It was a totally packed house. There had to be at least 200 kids there. Embassy Boardshop, Oldskool, R&R, Domestics, Alien Workshop, Habitat, Zero, Slave, Resident and Insturment all kicked in prizes. The Insturment guys showed up later in the evening and shredded everything. Check out the edit I made below.

Max Palmer X Coda

Via Facebook, I just found out that Max Palmer recently got put on the Coda Skateboards team. I'm so stoked for him! Coda is out of Portland, OR and is run by ex Black Label pro Pat Smith.

Max rides for Embassy Boardshop here in Columbus, however he is currently living in NYC.

This Saturday evening (Jan 15th) there is a big Best Trick, Skate Jam, BBQ party happening at Skate Naked. The Insturment team will be there sometime after 7 pm...
Organized by Rob Turner; Sponsors include Insturment, Embassy, Old School, R&R, Resident, Black Box Dist. and Domestics. I'll most likely be providing some AWS & Habitat stuff as well.
Should be a good time.
