There is an article in today’s “Other Paper” about Embassy. Written by Wes Flexner it discusses the history of the shop and it’s importance to the Columbus skate scene…
I'm bummed I couldn't be there for the group photo.....

Also make sure you head over to Skullys tomorrow night for the Embassy 5 year anniversary party (un official) Comfest afterparty...
Taken from the Columbus alive:
Friday: Sweatin' presents Embassy Boardshop five-year anniversary party with Cornelius Jackson & Freaky Franz, Second City Rhythm (Adulture & Ghosts of Venice), Johnny Cashola
To celebrate five years of Embassy Boardshop, Sweatin' has assembled one of the stronger hip-hop and electronic lineups in recent memory. You've got Johnny Cashola of the famed Get Right hip-hop party. Then there's Second City Rhythm, a frenetic Chicago disco duo featuring Columbus expat Adulture (Garrett Shrigley) and the UK's Ghosts of Venice (Lee Dunn). Topping things off is deejay Cornelius Jackson with emcee Freaky Franz, a pair of talented roomies who seem to be everywhere at once - on the road, in the studio, at the club and around the skate park.
