Dayton's Dave Ackels just released #50 of this local skate video series Absorb. If you're not familiar with these videos you should really take a look. ALSO, it's been announced that Dave is partnering up with Instrument Skateboard's Gary Collins to start a new board brand... Absorb Skateboards!! Here is the official announcement:
"We want to take a minute and thank everyone who has ever been part of ABSORB or has supported it in some way over the years. That support was what made it possible and gave us the drive to do this. None of us did this for money, we all just love skateboarding, it was the common thread. Skateboarding, shitty digital cameras, and the internet, thats about it. This is what ABSORB was about and will remain about, but it is time to expand.
